F.Studio
AI Engineer - Automation & Business Solutions Specialist
Build tools that teams actually use
The problem you'll solve
- Every team at F.Learning has manual work. Most of it is not worth automating.
- Your job is to tell the difference — and then build the thing that matters.
- A team lead tells you: "We spend too much time on this. Can AI help?" You go find out whether the real constraint is the process, the knowledge, the tooling, or nothing at all. Then you design a solution, build the first working version yourself, put it in front of real users, and stay with it until the work measurably improves.
- We are not trying to build more tools. We are trying to create more capacity — handle more work without proportional headcount, cut rework, make output more consistent, reduce dependence on senior people.
How the work runs: Understand → Design → Build → Test → Use → Improve
- Understand. Sit with team leads and users. Find what outcome is being blocked and what's blocking it. Separate a real bottleneck from a minor annoyance.
- Design. Turn the problem into buildable logic: who uses it, what goes in, what the system does, what comes out, where human judgment stays. Work with domain owners to extract their rules and examples — then organize that into workflow logic, and push back on requirements that don't serve the outcome.
- Build. Use whatever fits: AI agents, prompt workflows, automation platforms, APIs, databases, internal interfaces, AI-assisted coding. Match the solution to the size of the problem. No large system where a small tool works. No quick hack that becomes unmaintainable in a month.
- Test. Run real cases. Compare output against actual human judgment. When it fails, diagnose why — weak logic, missing knowledge, bad prompt, wrong data, unclear input, or a case you never designed for. Fix based on evidence.
- Use. Support the first rounds of rollout. Watch where people get confused, skip steps, or quietly go back to doing it manually. Document business purpose, workflow, decision logic, technical setup, and known limits — short, but clear enough that the system doesn't depend on you.
Who you work with
- An Architect sets the business outcome and success measures. A Process and Prompt Owner helps extract human judgment and knowledge. A Technical Owner guides architecture and integrations.
- You sit between them. From an approved problem brief, you should be able to reach a working solution without someone defining every step for you.
What we need from you
- Hands-on experience building AI tools, automation workflows, or internal systems. Working knowledge of APIs, webhooks, databases, structured outputs, and integrations - you don't need to be a software engineer.
- Experience analysing workflows or gathering business requirements. You should be able to translate between business language and technical logic, not just receive technical tickets.
- Useful: n8n, Make, Zapier, Airtable, Notion, AI coding platforms. A plus: Python, JavaScript, SQL. But solving the right problem matters more than the number of tools you know.
- Roughly a year in AI automation, business analysis, product operations, solutions engineering, workflow design, or process improvement. Strong project evidence matters more than the number.
What this role is not
- Not prompt writing. Not pure software engineering. Not connecting as many tools as possible, or launching something and moving on.
- Business teams will not hand you a complete spec. Defining the solution is part of the job.
Why us:
- Work with our clients (99% are foreign organizations/companies in many different industries) to have opportunities to improve your intercultural skills.
- Salary: Negotiable with 13th-month salary and bonus based on performance.
- Holidays bonus: International Workers’ Day, Vietnam’s National Day, Lunar New Year.
- 12 leave days & 4 sick leave days per year
- Performance review every year.
- Annual periodic health examination.
- Insurance packages for employees include social insurance and premium health insurance.
- Funded break-release twice a year and other interesting events.
- A comfortable working space that supports thoughts wandering, ideas seeking, and freedom inspiring.
- Working hours: 8:30 am – 6:00 pm (including 1.5 hours for lunch break).
